I hope this helps, so far it is working for me, but I will know for sure after the next major update to Windows. Ive check my startup apps in windows settings, task. There may not be an icon there if you dont have TeamViewer set to launch at startup but if its not starting at boot, you wouldnt be here reading this to fix the full screen. I dont seem to have anywhere where I can disable Host at startup. To stop TeamViewer, you have to go to the system tray (are next to the clock on the lower right corner), RIGHT click on the TeamViewer icon, then select 'Exit TeamViewer'. Yet, I would prefer TeamViewer Desktop (Full version or whatever its called) to start instead, which i already have selected in the options for that version to start on startup. Additionally you may need to edit the path name if you installed the program into a different folder. Upon startup, I have teamviewer host loading up. Make sure to keep the quotation marks around the path. min "C:\Program Files (x86)\TeamViewer\TeamViewer.exe" Here is what I entered into the Edit string dialog: To do this open regedit, go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run" Key and add a new string entry in the right side section. With this assumption, I believe every time Windows has a major patch, as I know there have been a few, it may possibly be removing the service from it's startup causing the program to not load. I believe this may be something to do with Windows itself rather than the program, as this new version of Windows is supposed to be focus on security. Additionally, I have tried reinstalling TeamViewer to reload the services with some success, however, it only lasts temporarily before I start having issues with TeamViewer not loading at startup. Hello, I installed my TeamViewer account on another computer and during the installation I chose to keep it open even when unattended. I checked Task Manager to see if its doing. I have previous installed and uninstalled other versions but now double clicking pr cl icking Open opn the teamviewersetup.exe file has no effect. Not even a washing machine on the screen. When I run the TeamViewer installation nothing happens at all. I believe I may have a solution to this problem that I thought would be worth adding to the topic.įirst, let me start off by saying I am running Windows 10 Pro on the system that I am seeing my issues with, the Home versions do not seem to be doing what I am having trouble with.
